Association Structure
The Performance Textiles Association is the trading name of The Made Up Textiles Association (MUTA), a company limited by guarantee
Management is by an elected council of members through an appointed CEO and Secretariat
Council consists of four groups, responsible for:
- Membership
- Technical & Training
- Marketing
- Finance
Members are encouraged to join Special Interest Groups (SIGs) which may have their own management structure and powers to raise funds for special projects
SIGs can be formed to tackle one particular issue or be formally constituted to represent one of the many aspects of the diverse textile industry
